Wiesner Installed as NCHBA 2009 PresidentDATE: 12/16/08 Frank Wiesner, MIRM, President of Olde South Homes, Inc. was installed December 10, 2008 as the 2009 NCHBA President, in a gala affair at the Sheraton Imperial in Research Triangle Park. Joe Robson, 2009 NAHB President, installed Wiesner and his Executive Committee. Surrounded by family and friends, Wiesner took the oath of office, becoming the leader of the North Carolina Home Builders Association for the coming year. “I love this industry,” Wiesner said, “and all that it provides to our community.” A banquet dinner was served and attendees were treated to entertainment by the nationally renowned Coastline Band. Wiesner was named the 2008 NCHBA Distinguished Builder Member of the Year, received the 2007 Habitat for Humanity Foundation Award, and was the 2008 Habitat Builder Blitz Chairman. Wiesner was also awarded the William C. Bass Leadership Award by Homes for NC. Wiesner’s building company, Olde South Homes has been awarded the MAME Building Company of the Year 7 times. |
